let me say first off that since I found this site and have been using this method my pool is always blue, clear and easy to take care of. i have tried to talk a friend of ours into going to the BBB method, she did not. now she has asked me and my husband to close her pool for her and it is green and nasty. I went down and tested her water, oh boy.... her cyanuric acid doesn't even register, her ph is so high that it turned the test water purple, no reading on any chlorine even tho she just put in 6 bags of shock. She is on a well so she is really not wanting to drain and refill to lower the acid level and adjust the chemical levels she just wants it closed! So, is it ok to just close and attack the issue in the spring? This pool is a mess. Time and money now or time and money in the spring?
