Anyone know how to re-calibrate a digital thermometer? A few days ago it started saying my water was 120*+. I guess I better get to looking for a new one before closing time comes. Good thing is I am not close to closing. We got up to 100* today.

Most thermometers are recalibrated at 32° in ice water or 212° in boiling water. The question is how to change what the reading is. If you know how to change the number then stick it in a bowl of ice water and change the number to 32.
If in direct sunlight it could misread. Also, check batteries. Electronic do strange things when running with bad power.
