    Salutations

    Hi everyone,

I recently bought a house with a pool in Peoria, AZ. This is the first time I've ever owned a pool.

I'm glad I found this site. It's already saved me quite a bit of money (though I've had to spend quite a bit getting this pool kicked into shape and I still have a long way to go).

The information here is invaluable and everyone seems great. I'm glad to be a part of it.

I do feel somewhat low-rent after seeing some of the spectacular and amazing pools some of you have. I wish I had that kind of budget!

My setup is pretty vanilla. My best guess is that it's around 13-14,000 gallons. Everything's pretty basic -- plaster finish, basic decking, no fountains or features, nothing exciting. Rebranded tr60 sand filter with an old standard 1hp single speed pump. It's probably going to need some work over the winter.

    Glad to be here.

New old pool. New to me. Far from new.
