Question Can you close a pool immediately after shocking it

If you shock a pool (with liquid chlorine) as you get ready to close it do you wait for the level to drop to the recommended FC level (based on CYA reading) or can you close it with the higher FC level that results from the shock?

You can close it with the elevated FC right away, as long as you don't exceed the shock level FC from the FC/CYA Chart.
