Hayward AquaBug Question

I'm thinking about investing in a pool cleaner for my above ground pool.

Would the Hayward AquaBug be a good buy for $120 or should I spend more on a better unit?

All I need it for is to pick up small debris that settles to the bottom.

I've had an Aquabug for 10+ years now & it works well for me. My pool is a 24 round with a flat bottom. My neighbors have also used it in their 15x30 oval flat bottom pool as well with good results.

I'm using a 1 hp Hayward Pump. Would that be sufficient for powering the Aquabug?

Yep, that should be fine. I ran my bug on a 1hp pump last year with no problems.
