Ive read and been told that i need to find the vacume pipe but nothing sticks out

Welcome to the forum.

That's not much info but I assume someone is trying to direct you to a sump point (wellpoint) whereby you can extract water from behind the liner. It usually doesn't "stick out" but it rather is covered like a skimmer. You may not have any, also.

There is an extra plug in the skimmer basket, is that it?

Look for a pipe stub in deep end or near equipment pad...

Chances are liner will sink soon & you will be left with the classic "spider web" shallow end wrinkle...

To combat floating in the future - sandbag the 4 shallow end corners & middle. At least when it floats it will sit relatively close to normal...

Unfortunately "once a floater always a floater"
