Leak in sand filter

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue.

I have a Hayward sand filter. 19 years old.

It appears to have a leak where the two halves of the barrel meet. Not where the valve is clamped to the main barrel but where the two halves of the barrel meet.

When my two sped pump is on high, the water jets out from the seam, like a small sprinkler.

Is it possible? It doesn't seem like it is to me, so I am just wondering if anyone else has seen that.

I know it is old, and will likely need to replace it.

Thanks. That is what I figured. My eyes aren't deceiving me. It is on the seam. Just couldn't believe it...it seemed an unlikely spot for a failure to occur.
