Hi,

I was trying to get my water balanced now that I have the plaster dust gone. I turned on my chlorinator last night and this morning my water went from clear to a cloudy blue. My test readings are as follows:

PH 7.2-7.4
CH 350
TA 130
CYA 0

What is your FC and CC? Cloudy water is the first sign of algae growing in your pool. 0 cya is not helping because the sun will burn off the chlorine quickly. You can do an Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to check for some algae growing. You are going to need to SLAM Process the pool to kill the algae.

Do you have one of these test kits? Pool School - Test Kits Compared I use the TF-100 because it is a better value.

Have you read these?
