Fix a Leak

Has anyone tried this stuff. Ive seen some good reviews but have no idea how it works. Its some kind of substance or gel like stuff you put into the skimmer to stop plumbing leaks. Don't kmow it its safe to use?

It is a liquid chemical with dry fillers mixed in, this chemical (I forget off hand what it is, but the same stuff is used in some radiator stop leak products) hardens when exposed to air, but not under water.
