New Owner: 6,000 Gallon Saltwater fiberglass pool. Built 2012

    Hey Forum,

I am a new pool owner and absolutely love our little pool. It has the built in spa and numerous steps to hang out with a beverage. My daughter is turning 3 yrs old and its a perfect size for her. Plus it is saltwater and fiberglass, which is awesome.

I am trying to learn the correct balance of chemicals and figuring out my pool lights, since they dont work. I will post to other forum sections for those.

Here is a picture provided by the house seller.

    Welcome to TFP!

Beautiful! I hear life is better in the Keys. Is that true?

Do you have your recommended Test Kit? That and the knowledge here will make pool ownership a breeze. http://www.troublefreepool.com/conte...its-comparison

Cutting to the chase, I highly recommend the TF-100 XL with Speedstir.

Thanks Bmoreswim.. Life in the Keys is truly better. I bought the Taylor K-2005 before I read the Pool School. Once i use the reagents I will upgrade.
