Is it okay to replace inlet with fountain?

My above ground pool has only one Inlet and we recently replaced the inlet with a fountain. I just shocked the pool but want to make sure that the shock will circulate okay with just the fountain running.

(This question is regarding the 16x48 pool)

If it was liquid yes. If granular then you might want to brush it a little to help it dissolve so it doesn't sit on the bottom.

Back to basics............we don't "shock" pools! We either raise the FC a couple points to help a minor mishap or pre-party or SLAM them!
