    New Newbie First Pool

Pool is still being built, day 28 and pool is filled, still waiting on electric and deck, with all this time I have had the opportunity to do some inspection.

It appears the waterline on one end is about 1/2 lower then the other measuring from the cap, is this an acceptable range?

Also about 3" of the vinyl liner on the low side has come detached from the end wall, concerns?

Just starting this journey any info would be appreciated!

Welcome to TFP! Good to have you here

The contractor needs to make good on the detached liner.

1/2" out of level is more than it should be, but you'd have to look at the tolerance in your contract. It's an aesthetics thing.

Get a good test kit and in the meantime, add 30 ppm of CYA and 3 ppm of FC to keep the green slime from getting a foothold.
This kit is the most recommended here: TFTestkits.net

And you can use PoolMath (button at top of every page) to figure out how much stabilizer (CYA, cyanuric acid) is needed, and the bleach amount as well.
