Double checking recommended chlorine amount

Pool is crystal clear and gets 100% sun ALL day. Was 91 degrees today with a heat index of about 99-100.

TF test numbers of:
FC 2 (CC 0-.5) Target of 6
PH 7.7-7.8
TA 210-220
CYA 45

Pool math recommended 70oz of 12.5%. One adult swimmer today and two clean children

Does 70oz sound high to anyone else?.....yesterday it was roughly 52 oz.
Pretty confident I do not have anything growing in the pool.....just wondering if a 70oz daily addition in this oppressive heat and full sun is considered normal?

A 4 ppm loss in full sun is not unreasonable at all.

Just for clarification, that chlorine test result was at 7:30pm. I had added "today's" chlorine, last night at 7:30.
So, 4 ppm loss throughout today's sunny day.
