Spider gasket question for Hayward SP0710X62fV

Anyone know if this particular valve requires the entire top half of the valve to be replaced or can I just replace the gasket? Does replacement require glue? Lube? Appreciate it, as always!

I don't know anything special about your MPV, but I haven't heard of a need to replace it unless it's broken.
