I bought a house two years ago with a pool that has a Cover Pools automatic pool cover with laminated vinyl that needs to be replaced.
I have the option of replacing the cover with either another Cover Pools laminated vinyl cover from one contractor or a Coverstar coated vinyl cover from another contractor. The Coverstar contractor said that more people are now going with coated vinyl although laminated vinyl might be a better option for larger pools, mine is small enough that coated should be fine.
My pool is about 20' by 14' and I live in a moderate climate (Seattle) where there is minimal snow and freezing temps during the winter.
Does anybody have any experience and/or recommendations with these two options?
