    So excited!

Finally we are upgrading to an Intex 3000gph pump and sand filter. Will be delivered tomorrow! Im as excited as a kid on christmas morning. I might just skip out of work early to go home and tinker with it. Amazon had it on sale for $158. Right now Ive spent just about that on the "B" style cartridge filters already and now coming to the end of summer even those are getting next to impossible to find. So by the end of this year and part way into next season it will already pay for itself.

That's a huge improvement and you should be very pleased. Don't forget to fill that filter housing part-way with water before adding the sand. The water helps cushion the weight of the new sand to prevent knocking a lateral loose or cracking one. Have fun!

Youll be much happier with sand.. I used to have them carts that vanish from walmart mid summer... hated them.. hated knowing I was going to have to buy like 15 or more just to make it thru....
