    L'anseMeg

Well, like others, I have skipped the intro and started posting first...oops. Anyway, I have been lurking in the forums for a few months and decided to jump in the water and swim with the rest of you. There is strength in numbers, as well as knowledge in numbers. I spent my teen years-through high school (early 80's) working for my Dad building polymer walled vinyl lined pools. In the late 90's and early 2000's, I ran my own (part time) pool business installing in-ground vinyl lined pools, above ground pools, and did some liner changes along the way. (My primary job at that time was as a Paramedic) I am very familiar with the building process but never really got involved with the chemistry side of things, nor did I make many service calls.

I, like many of you, do have fears and my biggest is... ROBOTS ! I look forward to learning from everyone and helping where I can.

Thanks kimkats, that would be the basic 5 way...chlorine, ph, alkalinity, hardness, and CYA. I will be purchasing the additinal reagents/tests that come with the TF-100.
