Can i keep it up over the winter?

We have a 22-foot Intex above ground pool in Southeastern Kansas. I would really love to be able to winterize it and keep it up rather than drain it and take it down for the winter. I have heard arguments on both sides of this issue , some people say that there's no way it will work and other say there's no reason it shouldn't... Any input or advice would be most appreciated. I have left mine up the past 2 years with no problems. I think it's actually easier on these pools, versus taking them down and folding them up.

I left my 18' Intex up over the winter, frozen and all, no issues.

I plan to do the same this year, and every year following.

I left my 16' Coleman up last winter. No problem at all. It sure beats taking it down and putting it up each year.
