If going on vacation for 7 days, should I load up my pool with chemicals before?

Hi. Here are the readings:

FC: 9
CC: 0
CYA: 90

I think I lose around 1 ppm of FC per day (although I have not done the FC loss test on the site here).

I am going on vacation for 7 days and no one will be using the pool. Before I leave, should I up the FC to 16, on the assumption that it will be back down to approximately 9 when I return?

What do people typically do when they go on vacation? Thanks

My pH tends to rise so I lower it to 7.2. I raise FC up to shock level for my CYA, [FC/CYA][/FC/CYA]. Chlorine drop isn't that linear. The higher it is the more it tends to drop.
