Replacing inground pool lights with LED lights

Hi,

I have an inground pool (with vinyl liner) from the mid 80's. The previous owner had the inground lights installed when he built the pool, but when he changed the liner, he did not make the cutouts for the lights as he was fed up with leaks at the lighting area (or so he said...).

I asked a pool specialist if he could cut my existing liner to get the existing lights working and he suggested against it given the liners age and risk of other damage. He suggested doing it the next time I change the liner...

Given I have all my wiring passed and the advances with LED, I was curious if there were any options to convert to some sort of LED lighting that does not require cutting the liner. What products exist that can perform in a similar manner as the existing lights? I don't need anything fancy...just some basic lighting for the pool at night.

Thanks!

all the LED lights I have seen require the same connections as regular lights and I also would recommend installing when you change the liner.. these are really nice looking LED's and what I am leaning toward installing when I build an inground pool :)
