I called the water company today to find out what my bill would be after filling it. They told me I had used about 18000 gallons (My normal usage is ~6000).. since I was over 20% over my normal usage I got a 'penalty' for using too much water, but I could get a refund of that penalty if I faxed them in a bill of the pool work that was done.
So I asked her how much the damage was... it was only about $85 more than my normal water bill.. and that included the ~$3.50 'penalty'... LOL. I thought my bill would be huge and the penalty would be something serious.. I laughed when she said $3.50 penalty, its not worth my money to even pay for a fax to send them the invoice..
I was happy.. always good when things come out cheaper than you had planned.
