Hey guys water has been cloudy lately. I have an autocover so rainfall isn't a factor but it's been hot up in NY and water temp has been around 92. Water temp is now 85 here's my TF100 results

Fc-4.5
CC-0.5
Cal-175
TA-100
CYA approx 45.

I just put in some stabilizer to bring CYA up. What's your thought on to clear up my water??Thanks!!

If your water is cloudy, that's a good indication you have algae forming. I wouldn't raise CYA at this time if you have to SLAM. With a CYA of 50, your SLAM FC level would be 20. If you raise the CYA, your SLAM FC will require more bleach to reach an FC of 24, 28, or whatever is required based on the Chlorine/CYA Chart (link below). I would recommend doing an overnight (OCLT) test to be sure. Pool School - Perform the Overnight FC Loss Test (OCLT)
