Jandy 1400 tri port sensor

My sensor is reading 25,000 ppm of salt. I turned the system off and took the sensor out and one of the metal contacts looks burned up.

Will the new sensor with just the 2 contacts and the little control box work? My firmware is 11230A05 and the manual doesn't mention this explicitly.

The new sensor will work with your system. You have to put the little control box on program “B”.

Make sure that you’re getting the latest model. There are still lots of the older style sensors out there. They have the same part number, so ask if it’s the newest model.

You have to ask. It has the controller inline.

Yes I did order one with the inline controller. I assumed you meant there were several different versions of that as well.
