    Intex Adapter

    Hello,

Has anyone cracked the code on how to connect a standard 1.5" pool hose directly to an Intex pump? Naturally it's non-standard (bigger) on the Intex side.

    Re: Intex Adapter

I followed some of the suggestions in this thread Custom PVC Pipe Adapter for Intex Pools, and used the Dura brand bushings like these Dura Reducer Bushing 1-1/2 in. to 1-1/4 in. 5 pack 437-212x5 - Pipe Fittings - Amazon.com I'm currently in the middle of my conversion, and these have worked great. The hard part to get, is the Intex hose nuts. Those are not sold sperately, at least not that I found anywhere. I ended up ordering some of the cheaper sand filter pump connection hoses direct from Intex, just for the nuts.
