New pump and Aqua critter

We finally bought a sand pump! Our old pump was just the filter pump that came with the pool. It pretty much has to run 24/7 and we have to change the filter every 3-4 days!
With the sand pump (it pumps 2450 gph), how long will need to let the pump run for every day? We have a salt water system so is the 6 hours my SWG has to run sufficient enough?
Also- we bought an aqua critter to help clean our pool bottom. We have a Walmart pool skimmer...will it work with the aqua critter?

Test your FC in the evening, run the SWG afterwards for the 6 hours, test your FC in the morning. Is it near the target FC per the TFP Chlorine / CYA chart? Pool School - Chlorine / CYA Chart
