Spa high pressure (35psi)

I just cleaned my 48 sq ft DE filter on Sunday and my pool pressure reads 15 psi (before cleaning 19 psi) and when I change the discharge and suction to the spa the pressure increases to 35 PSI. I am concerned this is too high. I took off all the jets in the spa and stuck a coathanger in about a foot to clear anything and nothing came out.

How can I reduce the pressure? Unfortunately I do not have a baseline pressure from before as the gauge was broken and I just replaced it when I cleaned the filter

Why do you think you need to reduce the pressure?
What was the pressure with all the jets removed?

Pool equipment is designed for up to 50psi, so 35psi could be hormal.

The pressure was the same with jets removed. There is a leak in one of the valves when I turn to spa that's why I am concerned
