    Question Plumbing Skimmers

Hello I have two skimmers going in that are Haywards. They have a 2" and 1.5" outlet. The 2" will be closest to the wall. Everything I have looked at shows only the outside hole going to the pump. I have a pump with 2" connections. I want to know will it matter if I plug the outside 1.5" hole and plumb the inside 2" to the pump? Or should I plumb the two skimmers using the outside 1.5" holes and tee the pipes to a 2" then run one line back to pump?

No it won't matter much. Just use the outside port for the pump and just transition from 1.5" to 2" as close to the skimmer as possible.
