My pool has the safety ledge around the perimeter near the bottom. Will a suction cleaner make it up and over the ledge? What kind to get? I was thinking of the Barracuda G3.

With a fiberglass pool the wall are very smooth so you don't necessarily need a cleaner to climb the walls as the dirt will slip off and down onto the floor so really you only require the cleaner to cleaner the floor. A suction cleaner like the Baracuda requires the skirt to maintain contact with the pool surface to help it move so once it hits the ledge the skirt will lose contact/suction and possible fall back to the floor or may hang on the ledge depending on how far it climbed up.
