I just had my pool re-plastered 2 weeks ago however I hadn't added any acid to it. My wife was given a startup guide which she didn't share with me so I didn't follow any of the instructions. Is this going to be a major problem for the newly plastered pool? What next steps should I take?

I have added my signature. I haven't spoken with the plaster installer however I spoke with the sales rep. I am going to get some samples of the water this evening and take them to my local pool store for analysis.
Who is the plaster manufacturer? Their website most likely has a startup guide and warranty registration. Similar to these

While you're at the pool store, buy a proper test kit. You are going to need some very routine test results that you can trust, not the local yocal at the pool store.
