High Alkalinity and Low Calcium Hardness

Hey All!

I slammed my saltwater pool a week ago, had my filter running for a week straight and my pool is cloudy. I tested my pool the pH and Free Chlorine are where they should be but my Total Alkalinity is 180 and Calcium Hardness 0. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks!

Get a better test kit?
Intex vinyl pools don't actually need calcium, so unless you have a heater that does need it...don't sweat it.

If your pool is cloudy, you're not done with your SLAM yet. To end a SLAM you have to meet 3 requirements:
1) water is clear
2) CC are 0.5 or less
3) Overnight Chlorine Loss Test shows a loss of 1ppm or less.

We need to know the most current chemistry using on of the recommended test kits as shown in PoolSchool. Tell us:
