Rocks under vinyl liner - should I be worried?

I had a new liner installed this year and I can feel rocks in many places underneath. Should I be worried about this? Is it unreasonable to expect that the installer would have addressed this before putting the liner in?

I have a few small pebbles under mine. When you say rocks, what size are you talking?

Bigger than pebbles for sure. Some of them are sharp enough that they kind of hurt if you step on them. I would have thought the installer would have taken care to not put a new liner on top of things that might be able to puncture it but I'm pretty sure they wanted to get in and out as fast as possible and get their money.

I'm not sure what options you have... other than making sure the next installer is more careful.

From what i understand you wouldn't want to drain a liner of any age as it could shrink and no longer fit.
