Attaching a picture. Any thoughts on a quick repair without calling a pool guy? Looks to be off track but regrettably don't know what it is supposed to look like.

Have you had any luck or did you have to call a repairman?
Too mangled to repair so they replaced one side of the rope. I'm certain it was because of kids not opening or closing the cover all the way and then reopening without giving it a chance to cat check up.
