Just tested my water. I have an FC level of 4 and a CYA level of 45/50. Pool is very clear. SWG is currently operating at 40%. Ph is 7.6. Is my CYA level good? I tried reading the chart on the site, but wanted an experts opinion.

If you raise your CYA, you may be able to lower the SWG setting which will help extend the life of the SWG cell. 80 ppm is usually recommended for SWGs because of this reason.

How did you add the stabilizer? 2 lbs only adds 10 ppm so not much of a change. You shouldn't lower the setting to less than 35%.
Straight into the skimmer. I just added 4 more pounds of stabilizer. I will retest levels in a week?

In the filter can take longer. What type of filter do you have? Just don't backlash.
DE filter. This should bring my levels to 80ppm for CYA. Should I raise my SWG or just play it out?
