My pool pump is working, has a leak coming from the shaft area. Filter pressure at 10 but circulation is poor. Skimmer basket is creating an air tornado causing some air suction. Changed sand in filter today due to pool turning green. With the new sand and filtering , the pool doesn't seem to be filtering. When backwashing no signs of filtering, clear water. Return is fairly good, but the suction seems to be weak. I ordered a new pump after seeing the leak. Could this be causing lack of circulation?
