Hi there, we bought a house with a pool and this is our first season, so many problems, our most recent is, I woke up this morning and the pool lost about a half foot of water through the back wash hose, it was set on filter, I can't get it to stop, I've called around for a new multi port, I think I found one, but can't pick it up until Friday is replacing the mulivalve the way to go?
Pool wont stop draining, even when set on filter.

Likely you may only need to replace the spider gasket in the multiport valve. Open it up and see what is going on in there.
I have had a similar thin happen when I did not fully seat the valve when I put it back to filter.
