    Non-chlorine shock

If your FC and TC are at normal levels, is it still necessary to treat the pool with Non-chlorine shock every week or after heavy usage and rain? I have not been doing this and am finding that I have to raise my pH almost weekly. Would non-chlorine shock help keep the pH at a normal level?

Do you know why your pH is dropping?
