Our filter grid had a small hole allowing D.E. to leak back into the pool. This went on for awhile before I figured out what was wrong. Now the pool liner is stained with D.E. that has hardened on the liner and no amount of scrubbing with a brush will dislodge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DE does not typically stain or stick to a liner. It should just vacuum back up easily. Can you get down to where the stains are and verify that they are actually rough and raised?
Thank you for your reply. Yes, it is rough and raised. If brushed on hard for a long time it does clean it up a little. The leak was probably last year and sat over the winter.
