92 today and love it at night. My pool coolers drop the temp 10 degrees measured in a bucket of caught pool cooler water spray.

We got an early cold front at it's now 95F instead of 105F and the pool temp has dropped to 86F. Perfect!
The temps here are dropped from upper 90s to low 90s and less sun. Haven't needed to put pool fountains in to cool at night. Maintaining at 82-84 now. Will start using the automatic cover in not too long to help heat it up. Wife didn't want to have a heater installed, but have a feeling that will change in a month from now.

wow jealous all of you maintaining the warmth.
I do use a bubble cover but lose about 2 degrees per day unless it's 90+ outside.
But this summer we've had VERY chilly nights regardless.
Pool was heated to 84 saturday...it was 80 yesterday, though almost 100 outside
today so that will feel great.

Just thought I'd mention that you can cool your pool with a solar pool heater by running your pump at night.
