Water chemistry is good. Should I allow rainwater to fill/cool or keep it covered?

My water is crystal clear and testing good. But I need to add a couple inches and cool it down! A storm is coming in. Should I leave it open or am I better off covering it and filling later from the hose?

    Thanks!

Free water from the sky works for me! Leave it uncovered

Mother Nature has been filling my pool a lot recently. LOL!!! I second leave it uncovered.
