Appreciate the great insight here. After learning through this site, maintaining my pool chemistry has been a pleasure and become predictable. For the first 5 weeks, my pump setting as been at the maximum (3450). I run my pool 12 hours per day and usually turn on the cleaner once or twice per week depending on what settles at the bottom of the pool. For the last week, I did turn down the pump setting to 2900 and pool chemistry or cleaner (Zodiac MX8 Suction) performance have not suffered. How low can I go to maximize energy savings without worrying about proper chemistry or efficient cleaner performance? Thanks in advance. Equipment and pool specs in signature.
