    typical water level

What should the typical water level be on average above the skimmer openings for proper operation? I have two skimmer openings, each on either ends. As a side note, i've noticed about a 1" or two finger difference in elevation between them.

Interesting that they're are at different levels!

The general rule of thumb is that the water level should be kept about halfway up the skimmer opening.
