Finally registered after web-stalking TFP!
I did get sucked into buying an unnecessary product for my metal frame pool recommended by a local pool supply company. I did learn useful information from them and bought standard products needed and recommended from TFP, so not at a total loss. Thank goodness I found this site or I would be constantly stressing over Phosphates. I have a Summer Waves SFX1000 17' x 52" pool which still gives me headaches reguarding ph balance, but we are new to maintaining swimming pools so naturally there is a huge learning curve. Glad to be a member of TFP, I already saved 22$ by not buying unneeded products.
