finished my DIY 33' used pool install

It took 7 days working on it whenever possible. I feel like I got a good result, but likely wouldn't do it again.

Please give an honest critique and make any suggestions that I could implement to improve it

Yeah, the assembly was fun, but the chamfering and deburring was my favorite miserable part.

That is the same size pool we have. It is a joy to be in. It is large enough to swim in or just float around.

Do you have a test kit yet? If not look in my siggy for the one that is the best bang for the buck.

With your own test kit you will never be Pool $tored-----spending too much for stuff you really do not need.

The install looks beautiful! I would have left out the Zodiac mineral packs, but that is the only thing I would change. Well done!

Yeah, the kids were splashing around in 55 degree water by the time the second of 4 truck loads were in.

I'll make sure to look into the test kit, for now we're using strips.

The deck we designed at a home center costs roughly 15 % of our household income. So we're either going to adjust our expectations, or save up for a long while. Lol!

I guess that Zodiac unit is a bit of a scam??
I may end up taking it out or just not replacing cartridges.
