Med1171 - New Member - just trying to clear up my pool :)

24' round x 52" high vinyl pool, upgraded to a large Sand Filter and Salt-Water system. Crystal clear last year but looked like a swamp this year. Have added Bleach & Stabilizer to turn it milky white, add flocculent to sink it, vacuumed it all up and can't get my FC levels above 0 no matter how much bleach, stabilizer, algaecide I add to it so here I am.

If I can't get a handle on it in the next few days I'll test and post in the appropriate place to see what you guys think.

Don't laugh, ordering a good test kit today, but for now, the Clorox strips being read by (yes - I'm using it), my iPhone 6S Clorox App....This was an hour after adding a gallon of dissolved (1 tablet) clorox.

The above test was about 30 minutes PRIOR to the post, so about 5:43 Eastern. Just retested using the strips/app again and got this:


Only posted these since you asked about the stabilizer values. If I need to put all of this somewhere else please advise and I'll move it. Gonna test again about 7:15pm eastern.

The test strip results don't help us help you. We don't trust them. We trust test kits that use Taylor reagents. What test kit did you order?
