My elevated spa is leaking at the joint between the plaster and the coping. How do I make this seam watertight? The pool builder mason came out and attempted to apply some sort of white material at the joint, which does not look good, but did not fix the leak. They do not appear to know how to fix it.
When I fill the spa, water starts to slowly pour through and across the rocks on the outside of the spa as soon as the water gets above the plaster/coping joint. Fortunately, the water leaks into the pool. However, I would like to maintain the water at the top of the coping level without having to spill over all the time (lots of unneeded evaporation, etc).
