Sand in pool

Replaced my multi port valve and laterals because I was getting sand in my pool. The multi port had a crack.

Even after replacing I'm still getting sand in the pool and also notice on the ground after back washing.

How long ago did you replace?

Is the sand decreasing? what does your system look like? How long have you beeen leaking sand?

Confirm without a doubt it is sand. Pick some up between your thumb and forefinger and see if it is gritty like sand.

Most posts of sand in the pool are really about dead algae.

Well it's definitely sand.......not sure what to do.
