I just purchased a sand filter pump to replace the one that came with my Intex 18x48 pool. I put bought the Clorox sand from lowes and the box is giving mixed instructions. Can I use this product by itself? Or is it something you add to existing sand? The box says you do not have to use as much as normal sand (manual for pump itself is calling for 77lbs)
