Adding a sand filter

I currently have an intex swg system with the catridge filter built in. I just purchased an intex sand filter with pump. I was wondering if it will be easy to add the sand filter and stop using the cartridge filter....I havent been able to find any instructions on this site or Youtube.

That is what I was thinking....just wondering when I turn on my swg if the pump will run too?

well, like I suggested to that poster, I have the pump/ sand filter & a separate SWG. My SWG has a flow switch that gives an error if the pump is off.No reason you can't try it.It won't hurt anything and the readout will tell you if it is working!
