Patch Coming Off

Hi Everyone,

I have a small round patch on my stairs that was put on prior to my owning the pool that is coming off. I have never done this before, can I just put the adhesive under the current patch and get that to stick or do I take it up and patch completely new? Thanks for your help!
 
Your best bet at this point is to cut a patch that is about 2" bigger than the current patch, and place the new one right over top of the old one.
If you try to peel up the old one, it may be adhered in one spot REALLY WELL, and you risk doing more damage to the original liner.
