Replace Jandy APURE14000 with PLC1400

Has anyone here ever replaced a Jandy APURE1400 with the PLC1400? If so are they both the same length? I put the PLC1400 next to the APURE and the PLC looks a bit longer. I'm just trying to figure out if I'll need to be cutting some pipe. Thanks.

Are you replacing the square cell with the round cell? If so, you will need to do some plumbing. The unions may not be the same either.
